The hospital’s plan to increase capacity to 267 beds in 2010 is part of a $25.5 million expansion designed to meet the continued growth of Houston’s northeast communities. Adding new services and 54,000 square feet are only the beginning. Kingwood Medical Center employs 850 full time staff and expects to add an estimated 225 new employees upon completing the expansion.
